If you have never used mIRC before, below is a little background and tutorial to help you set up the program. Although seemingly complex, mIRC is in fact, remarkably simple to install and use. If you do not posess a copy of mIRC, we have produced a version with our connection details already setup - you can download it from our downloads section. Once you have saved the file to your hard drive, double click the zip file and follow the prompts on screen to install mIRC to a folder on your computer. When completed, double click the mIRC icon inside the folder. mIRC will now startup and await final setup. You will now see a screen called 'mIRC Options' where you can put in your details. You should only need to put in your desired Nickname, Full name (need not be your actual name) and email address; then simply click the 'connect to server' button and you will connect to SurrealChat and instantly join our #Reception channel where someone will available if you need any help! If you cannot connect to the server, below are some screen shots of the settings you may need to enter.
